Mozelle Oliver Couch

Elkin Mrs. Mozelle Oliver Couch, age 80, of Ancle Couch Drive, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2007 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Couch was born August 29, 1927 in Yadkin County to Claude & Cora Smith Oliver. Mrs. Couch was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years and was retired from Elkin Valley Apparel. She was well known in the community for her seamstress work. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ancle Couch. Survivors include: three sons, Terry Couch and wife Pamm of Advance, Nathan Couch and wife Debra of Siler City, Eric M. Couch of Elkin; a brother, Ben Oliver of Ronda; two grandchildren, Jason Couch and wife Amber of Harrisburg, Heather C. Miller and husband James of Winston-Salem; one great grandchild, Caleb Miller. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church by Rev. Danny Dodds and Dr. Gary Byrd. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin.
