Ronda Mr. Bobby Franklin Luffman, age 49, of Luffman Farm Road, Ronda, NC passed away Sunday, April 17, 2005 at the home of his parents. Bobby was born April 23, 1955 in Elkin, NC and was a 1973 graduate of East Wilkes High School. He attended Little Elkin Baptist Church and was employed by the U.S. Postal Service in Jonesville, NC. Bobby served as Security Supervisor in the United States Air Force for 13 years where he received many awards including the Air Force Commendation Medal. Survivors include: a Special Friend, Betty N. Jordan of State Road; his parents, James B. & Bennie Absher Luffman, Jr. of Ronda; a daughter, Jeanette Lavonne Luffman Hill and husband Otis of N. Wilkesboro; a son, Robert Blaine Luffman of Wilmington, NC and two grandchildren, Patrick Hill and Alura Hill; three brothers, Roger J. Luffman and wife Brenda of Boonville, Clyde B. Luffman and wife Sue of Ronda, and Michael E. Luffman of Winston-Salem and a step grandmother, Bretta Luffman of Elkin. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Little Elkin Baptist Church by Rev. Gwyn Anderson, Elder Arthur Gray and Rev. Roger Groce. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Wilkes County Hospice 1907 West Park Drive, N.
