Thurmond, Mr. Michael Todd Norman, age 43, of Thurmond Road, passed away May 27, 2008 at Moses Cone Hospital. Mr. Norman was born July 14, 1964 in Alamance County to Paul Ernest & Edna Cheek Norman, Jr. Mr. Norman was a self employed contractor and was a member of Shining Light Baptist Church in Greensboro. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Paul & Alma Norman, Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Ellie-Ree & Mary Cheek. Survivors include: three sons, Kyle Norman, of Stokesdale, Chris Norman and Zack Norman both of Greensboro; a daughter, Mica Norman of Greensboro; his parents, Paul Ernest & Edna Cheek Norman, Jr. of Thurmond; a brother, Ernest Bradley Norman of Rydal, Ga; a sister, Cynthia Norman Parrish of Hickory; two nephews, Bradley Paul Norman, Sebastian Allen Parrish; two nieces, Britney Nicole Norman, Sophia Rae Parris. A memorial service will be held May 30, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bruce Freeman, Rev. Jimmy Dillon. The family will receive friends following the service.
