Thurmond Mr. Bobby Dean Crouse, age 50, of Union Hill Road, passed away Monday, December 10, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Crouse was born December 3, 1957 in Surry County to Woodrow Oliver & Lilla Maude Norman Crouse. Mr. Crouse was of the Baptist faith and was employed by Surry County EMS. Bobby loved his family, friends and country who of us could have done more? He was preceded in death by his mother, Lilla Maude Norman Crouse. Survivors include: his father, Woodrow Oliver Crouse of Thurmond; a sister, Emma E. Browne of State Road. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 13, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Mickey Brooks and Rev. Terry Longworth. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin. The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to Union Hill Cemetery Fund, Thurmond, NC 28683.
