Frankie Pardue

December 29, 1949 — August 3, 2006

Jonesville Mr. Frankie "Lightning" Edward Pardue, age 57, of Cathrine Lane, of Jonesville, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2006 at Wilkes Regional Medical Center. Mr. Pardue was born December 29, 1949 in Surry County to Rex & Ruby Layell Pardue. Mr. Pardue worked at Wal-Mart and at East Wilkes High School and was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed old cars and car shows and was the Public Relations person for Classic Gear Jammers from 2002-2003 and organized Cruise Inns in Elkin. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Layell Pardue. Survivors include: a son, William Pardue of Raleigh; his father, Rex Pardue of Elkin; a sister, JoAnn Pardue of Jonesville. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 7, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Central Full Gospel by Rev. Bobby Norman. Burial will follow at Victory Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Pardue will lie instate 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to American Red Cross or to the American Cancer Society.
