Jonesville Mr. James "Mitchell" Norman, age 26, of Stanley Brothers Lane, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2005. He was born September 11, 1978 in Yadkin County to James Dale & Sophia Stokes Norman. Mr. Norman was a member of New Grace Baptist Church and was employed by East Coast Millworks. Survivors include: His wife, Denise Cave Norman of the home; children, Hailey Virginia Norman, Grace Michelle Norman both of the home; father, James Dale Norman of State Road, mother, Sophia Stokes Bauguess and her husband, Harold of Jonesville; a sister, Vonda Norman Blue and husband Neil of Lewisville; maternal grandmother, Brenda Stokes of Jonesville; four uncles, Ricky Norman and wife Pam, Dennis Norman and wife Ola, Charles Norman, Kenneth Stokes and wife Susan; an aunt, Wanda Durham; a nephew Luke Macemore and niece Eden Macemore. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 23, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Ricky Johnson and Rev. Jamie Wood. Burial will follow at Welcome Home Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin.
