Enoch Webster Osborne

December 2, 1936 — February 20, 2005

State Road Mr. Enoch Webster "Webb" Osborne, age 68, of Liberty School Road, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2005 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mr. Osborne was born December 2, 1936 in Surry County to Lemuel Davis & Polina Talley Osborne. Mr. Osborne was owner/supervisor of various area restaurants and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Calvin Osborne, Vance Osborne and Wade Osborne; a half brother, Davis Osborne; two sisters, Nancy Booher and Irene Wright. Survivors include: a wife, Bonnie Hamby Osborne of the home; two sons, Michael Osborne and wife Lisa of Swan Creek, Andrew Osborne and wife Ericka of Elkin; two daughters, Mitzi Moody and husband Benny of State Road, Tammy Church and husband Jimmy of Elkin; a sister-in-law, Hallie Osborne of Ronda; six grandchildren, Chad Church, Benjy Moody, April Moody, William Spicer, Ashley Osborne and Ethan Pinnix; two great grandchildren, Haven Church and RyleeAnn Poplin. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel in Elkin by Rev. Bailey Elmore and Rev. Gordon Macemore. The family will receive friends following the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the American Lung Association of North Carolina, PO Box 27985, Raleigh, NC 27611.
