Shirley Louise Capamaggio

January 18, 1931 — April 5, 2005

Jonesville Mrs. Shirley Louise Capamaggio, age 74, of Cedarbrook Road, Jonesville, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Capamaggio was born January 18, 1931 in Rochester, NY to Leo & Margaret Bills Bagne. Mrs. Capamaggio was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Byron, NY. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Elmer Bagne; two sisters, Rita Musgrave and Beverly Larson. Survivors include: her husband, Jerry G. Capamaggio of the home; two sons, Steven Capamaggio and wife Linda of Elkin, Scott Capamaggio and wife Donna of Greensboro; a daughter, Judy Capamaggio and husband Wayne Pierce of Elba, NY; a brother, Russel L. Bagne of Walworth NY; two sisters, Arlene Porter of California, Connie Cenzi of Rochester, NY; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 7, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Steven Crotts. Burial will follow at a later date. The family will receive friends following the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital Foundation Fund, 180 Parkwood Drive, PO Box 560, Elkin, NC 28621 or to Brenner Children's Hospital 310 Medical Center Boulevard, Winston-Salem, NC 27157.
