Eunice Dickson

April 22, 1931 — July 25, 2004

Elkin Mrs. Eunice Dickson, age 73, of Ambrosia Lane, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2004 at her residence. Mrs. Dickson was born April 22, 1931 in Philadelphia, Pa. to Thomas & Anna Booker Hoover. Mrs. Dickson was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Dickson. Survivors include: two sons, George J. Dickson of West Branch, Michigan, Daniel T. Dickson of Sparta; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Pessolano of Elkin; three brothers, Thomas Hoover, of Doylestown, Pa., Donald Hoover of Williamston, N.J., Stephen Hoover of Belton, S.C.; a sister, Patricia Hoover Corvello; three granddaughters, Marianne Dickson of San Francisco, Ca., Elizabeth A. Dickson of Charlotte, Michelle Pessolano of Elkin. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Stephens M.S. Foundation or to Hospice of Surry County. Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin is serving the Dickson family.
