Jonesville Mrs. Mary Jane Brown Stonestreet, age 78, of Cherry Street, Jonesville, passed away Monday, February 04, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Stonestreet was born March 25, 1929 in Yadkin County to Mack C. & Polly Wood Brown. Mrs. Stonestreet was retired from Chatham Manufacturing and was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph Brown & Raymond Brown; two sister, Pauline Cockerham and Carrie Pate. Survivors include: her husband, Bill Stonestreet of Jonesville; two daughters, Linda Myers and husband Tommy of State Road, Billy Jester and husband Ron of Jonesville; a sister, Viola Clark of Jonesville; four grandchildren, Tim Cook, Jody Swaim, Damon Groce, Tyler Jester; three great grandchildren, Matthew Cook, Lauren Cook, Devin Swaim; step grandson, Rickey Myers; step granddaughters, Chastity Layell and Misty Lester. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Hagan Mcclellan and Rev. Roger Hensley. Burial will follow at Sunrise Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin.
