William Hall

April 5, 1934 — May 1, 2007

Elkin Mr. William Randolph Hall, age 73, of Bon Air Road, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mr. Hall was born April 5, 1934 in Anderson, SC to Lonnie Randolph & Hassie Center Hall. Mr. Hall was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired after 33 years of service from Duke Energy. He was a member of Elkin Valley Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, John Scott Hall and a brother, Cecil Edward Hall. Survivors include: his wife, Rita Hall of the home; a son, Brad Hall and wife Amy of Statesville; a daughter, Cheryl Wheeler and husband John of State Road; four grandchildren, Bradley Hall, Lindsay Hall, Charlie Wheeler and Griffin Wheeler. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 4, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. at Elkin Valley Baptist Church by Rev. Johnny Blevins. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Elkin Valley Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Elkin Valley Baptist Church Building Fund, 118 N. Elkin Drive, Elkin, NC 28621 or to the Donor's Choice.
