Jonesville Mrs. Dorothy Marie Holcomb, age 45, of NC Hwy 67, passed away Thursday July 21, 2005 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Holcomb was born June 30, 1960 in Ashe County to Sue Miller. Mrs. Holcomb was employed by Blythe Candle and attended Knobbs Baptist Church. Survivors include: Her husband, Mickey Holcomb of the home. Two daughters, Bridget Marie Bauguess of Roaring River, Kayla Brooke Adams of the home. A step daughter, Wendy Lynn Holcomb of Lewisville. A step son, Mickey Holcomb II of Elkin. Her Mother, Sue Miller of Lansing. Two grandchildren, Bailey McKenzie Bauguess and Caisen James Bauguess. Funeral services will be held Sunday July 24, 2005 at 2 pm at Knobbs Baptist Church by Rev. Danny Bauguess. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Holcomb will lie instate thirty minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6-8 pm at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin.
