Charlie Hugh Hemric

December 5, 1943 — July 20, 2004

Cookeville, TN Mr. Charlie Hugh Hemric, age 60, of Baxter, TN passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mr. Hemric was born December 5, 1943 in Surry County to Mayhue & Marie Collins Hemric. Mr. Hemric was a truck driver for Rock Island Express. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include: two sons, Dwight Hemric and wife Jamie, Timmy Hemric all of Elkin; a sister, Chris Hemric Bumgarner and husband George of Taylorsville; two grandchildren, Lezia Hemric and Jacob Hemric; a special friend, Candace Pickett. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 24, 2004 at Elkin Valley Baptist Church. The family will receive one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin is serving the Hemric Family.
