State Road Mrs. Teresa Kaye Andrews, age 57, of Hwy. 21, passed away, Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Andrews was born January 31, 1949 in Surry County to Ed & Bernice Brown Sparks. Mrs. Andrews was a homemaker and attended State Road Pentecostal Holiness Church. Survivors include: her husband, Donald Andrews of the home; two daughters, Dianna Hemric and husband Kenneth of Boonville, Lynn Andrews of the home; four brothers, Gary Sparks and wife Starr of Elkin, Jerry Sparks and wife Teresa, Richard Sparks and wife Shirley all of State Road, Clyde Sparks and wife Pricillia of South Carolina; three sisters, Barbara Meeks and husband Jim of South Carolina, Brenda Hawks and husband Tracy of State Road, Bonnie Fowler and husband Tony of Winston-Salem; two grandchildren, Matthew Norman and Ryan Hemric. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 22, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Gary Tatum and Rev. Craig Waldie. Burial will follow at Crestwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin.
