Ronda Mr. Kevin Hugh Burchette, age 31, of Hidden Acre Dr. passed away Saturday, January 27, 2007 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Burchette was born July 31, 1975 in Surry County to Granville William and Christine Swaim Burchette. Mr. Burchette was a 1997 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a member of the Ronda First Baptist Church. Mr. Burchette was a student at Guilford Technical College and a home mortgage officer with First Medallion Mortgage Co. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Glenn and Maggie Burchette and his maternal grandparents: Atlas and Helen Swaim. Survivors include: His parents, Granville William and Christine Swaim Burchette of Ronda, a brother and sister-in-law: Keith and Kay Burchette of Ronda; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Penny and Michael Sparks of Elkin and Lisa and Terry Nelson of Hays; two nephews: Joshua Sparks and Brandon Burchette; a niece, Kristan Sparks and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 29, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Ronda First Baptist Church by Rev. Marty Nixon. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:30 till 8:30 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin.
