Richmond, Va Mr. Buddy Stephen Wishon, age 71, of Hilliard Road, Richmond, VA, passed away, Sunday, April 29, 2007 at Henrico Doctor's Hospital in Richmond. Mr. Wishon was born, May 24, 1935 in Wilkes County to Worth William & Polly Zell Couch Wishon. Mr. Wishon was a retired teacher from the Fairfax County School System. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, J.R. Wishon. Survivors include: a sister, Frankie Wishon Kanka of Highland Springs, VA; two nephews, Jay BeVille of Mechanicsville, VA, Charles Kanka of Aylett, VA; three nieces, Polly Lay of Loma Linda, Ca., Virginia Krause of Mechanicsville, VA, Margaret Chatman of Bismark, ND. A graveside service will be held Monday, May 7, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Cool Springs Baptist Church by Rev. Russ Nixon. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin.
