Jonesville Mrs. Della Swaim Osborne, age 92, of Swan Creek Road, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2005 at Yadkin Nursing Care Center. Mrs. Osborne was born May 27, 1913 in Yadkin County to Rufus "Robert" & Mamie Stroud Swaim. Mrs. Osborne was retired after 47 years of service from Chatham Manufacturing and was a member of Swan Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph "Joe" C. Osborne; her son, R. Wayne Osborne; her daughter, Vena Boles; two sisters, Grace Felts, Ethel Couch; a brother-in-law; Harvey Couch. Survivors include: a sister, Evelyn Dobbins and her husband M.C. of Jonesville; a daughter-in-law, Evelyn Osborne of Winston-Salem; a son-in-law, Charles "Chuck" Boles of Fayetteville; a brother-in-law, George Felts of Elkin; four grandchildren, Luanne Caudle and her husband Tim of Winston-Salem, Robert Osborne of Raleigh, Shelia Boles of Wilmington, Joseph Boles and wife Mollie of Fayetteville; four great grandchildren, Lauren Caudle, Ashlyn Caudle, Dan Copeland of Southern Pines, Elizabeth Copeland of Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 10, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Swan Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Howard Wilburn. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the graveside service in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Hospice of Yadkin County at 208 N.
