Eugenia Money Adams

Mrs. Eugenia Money Adams, 86 of Elkin, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Elkin Healthcare. Mrs. Adams was born March 6, 1924 in Wilkes County to Eugene and Lillian Lawrence Money. She attended Cool Springs Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband, William "Red" Adams; two daughters, Patricia Jean Adams and Rebecca Ann Adams; one sister, and five brothers. She is survived by a daughter, Kathy Diane Underwood of Baton Rouge, LA; three grandchildren, Korey Tyler, Rennie Jacobs, and Devlin Adams; five great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Mike Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:30 pm prior to the service at Elkin Funeral Service. The family wishes to thank the staff at Elkin Health Care for all the love and care they have shown to Mrs. Adams.
