Ralph Lytle Alexander

February 13, 1924 — January 3, 2007

Jonesville Mr. Ralph Lytle Alexander, age 82 of Oak Street, passed away, Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at Pennybyrn at Maryfield of High Point. Mr. Alexander was born February 13, 1924 in Wilkes County to William Lytle & Mary Truitt Alexander. Mr. Alexander was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during World War II. He was retired from Chatham Manufacturing and was a member of Jonesville First Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Zelna Alexander; two sisters, Mabel Hill and Vena Akers. Survivors include: two sisters, Ethel Lemons and husband Zendale of Eden, Polly Cochran of High Point. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 5, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Roger Hensley. Entombment will follow at Crestwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin. The family will accept flowers, or memorials may be made to Jonesville First Baptist Church, Jonesville, NC 28642 or to the Donor's Choice.
