Elkin, Mr. Jesse Lee Wagoner, age 68, of Golf Course Road, passed away Saturday April 10, 2004 at his residence. Mr. Wagoner was born October 3, 1935 in Surry County to Everette and Etta Gentry Wagoner. Mr. Wagoner was retired from Home Depot and was a veteran of the United States Navy. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include: Four sisters, Sue Waldrup of Elkin, Betty Ann Luffman of Boonville, Martha Muncus of Elkin, and Nancy Johnson of Elkin. Funeral services for Mr. Wagoner will be private. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to Hospice of Surry County 1326 N. Main Street Mt. Airy, NC 27030 Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin is serving the Wagoner family.
