Elkin, Infant Denton Cole Kipp, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2004, at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Survivors include: his parents; Dustin Scott and Karah Meggan McCann Kipp, one brother; Cody Lane Kipp all of the home, maternal grandparents; John and Jodie McCann of Elkin, paternal grandparents; Richard and Pam Kipp of Ronda, Maternal great grandparents; Estelle Whitaker of Elkin, Harley and Carolyn McCann of Roaring River, paternal great grandparents; Ann and Buddy Johnson of Ronda, Bill and Kate Pardue of Elkin, great-great grandmother; Nellie McCann of Roaring River, one uncle; Wesley Kipp of Ronda, and very special great aunt and uncle; Cecil and Joyce Thomas of State Road. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Briar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Jerry Wilmoth. The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to Briar Creek Baptist Church. Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin is serving the Kipp family.
