Ida Mae Stanley

Winston-Salem Mrs. Ida Mae Stanley, age 91 of West End Boulevard passed away Monday, September 1, 2008 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Stanley was born May 3, 1917 in Wilkes County to Orville & Lucy Childress Garris. Ida Mae was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse A. Stanley, a son, Larry A. Stanley, four brothers and two sisters. Survivors include: two sons, Kenneth Stanley, Billy Ray Stanley both of Winston-Salem; two daughters, Linda Boles and husband Larry of Advance, Cathy Stanley of the home, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 5, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. David Wiles. The family will receive following the service. A committal service will follow Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. at Shoaly Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
