Roaring River Mrs. Catherine Ann Anderson, age 51, of Byrd Road, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2004. Mrs. Anderson was born March 24, 1953 in Iredell County to Thomas and Lola Marie Lapish Mortimer. Mrs. Anderson was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include: Her husband, Billy Anderson of the home; a son, Thomas Parker Robeson of Glade Valley; two daughters, Charley L. Robeson of Glade Valley, April Houghteling and husband Kent of Statesville; three grandchildren, Erik Houghteling, Leanna Houghteling and Trenton Houghteling. A memorial service will be held Wednesday evening at 5:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel in Elkin.
