Ima Mae Crouse

November 13, 1921 — February 15, 2007

Thurmond Mrs. Ima Mae Hinson Crouse, age 85, of Thurmond, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2007 at Britthaven of Wilkesboro. Mrs. Crouse was born November 13, 1921 in Surry County to George Dewey & Orchey Lyon Hinson. Mrs. Crouse was retired from Lucia and was a longtime member of Center Baptist Church and volunteered at B.R.O.C. senior meal site. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Paul Crouse and Donald Robert Crouse. Survivors include: her husband, Ernest Paul Crouse of Elkin; two sons, Garry Wayne Crouse and wife Angela of Puyallup, Washington, Ken Crouse and wife Cindy of Millers Creek; two daughters, Betty Jo Holsclaw of Jonesville, Wilma Sue Manning and husband David of Austin; a twin sister, Nina Cheek of Thurmond; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Center Baptist Church by Rev. Jimmy Gilreath. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
