Ronda Mr. Lester Dwayne Pardue, age 52, of Clingman Road, passed away, Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Pardue was born June 4, 1954 in Surry County to R.T. & Bonnie Sebastian Pardue. Mr. Pardue was a member of Wilkes Faith Temple of Ronda, and was a self employed painting contractor. Family includes: Sara Johnson Pardue of the home; Noah Johnson of the home; Bruce Johnson and wife Erica of Ronda; Elizabeth Johnson Shore and husband Chad of Hamptonville; R.T. Pardue of Ronda; Bonnie Sebastian Stineback of State Road; Hope, Bailey and Rachel Johnson, Bryson Shore; five brothers, three sisters, loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Wilkes Faith Temple in Ronda by Rev. Mark Roberson and Pastor Russell Gibson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Wilkes Faith Temple. The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made at Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
