State Road Mrs. Patsy E. Dudley, age 76, of Mount Pleasant Road passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Dudley was born May 22, 1932 in Johnson City, TN to Clyde & Hazel Tucker Gross Evans. Mrs. Dudley was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church and was retired from Chatham Manufacturing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, McKinley Dudley; two brothers, Norman Evans and Ronnie Gross; a sister, Paulette Mann. Survivors include two sons, Steve Dudley and wife Holly of Thurmond, Billy Dudley and wife Angelenna of State Road; a daughter, Debi Dudley of State Road; three brothers, Bob Evans and wife Nancy of Johnson City, TN, Wayne Evans and wife Judy of Jackson, MS, Jerry Evans of Johnson City, TN; a sister, Judy Sloan and husband Ronnie of San Angelo, TX; five grandchildren, Lauren Dudley, Evan Dudley, Blaine Dudley, Brandon Dudley, and Dakota Dudley-Doss. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church by Rev. John Attaway. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Dudley will lie instate 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin.
