Agnes Hickey

Mrs. Agnes Pardue Lancaster Hickey, age 96, of Jonesville passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Hickey was born April 27, 1925 in Yadkin County to James Walter Pardue and Alice Porter Pardue.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James “Jim” Hickey and numerous siblings.

Survivors include: her children, Louise Nace of North Carolina, Ronald Lancaster III of Ohio, Patricia Hochman and husband Steve of Virginia; brother, William Pardue and wife Elaine of Arizona; five grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren; stepdaughters; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

We will treasure our memories of "Aggie" and we were blessed to have had her in our lives.

A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the charity of donor’s choice.

The family would like to thank Holly at Chatham Nursing and Rehabilitation and Debbie with Mountain Valley Hospice for their care.
