Alice G. Mullis

Mrs. Alice Arlene Gregory Mullis, age 75, of Jonesville passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at her daughter’s residence.

Alice was born April 12, 1949 in Beaufort County, NC to Shelton and Joan Robinson Harrison.  She was employed at Fairfield Inn & Suites, in Elkin and enjoyed her position there.  Alice was a devout Christian and had a strong faith in Jesus Christ.  She enjoyed crafting, cooking for her friends and family and crocheting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Larry Gregory and Shelton “Shorty” Harrison; sisters, Carol Jarvis and Kathy Gregory.

Survivors include her husband, Samuel E. Mullis of the home, son, Robert Wood and wife Jane of Elkin, daughters, Robin Kennedy and husband Junior of Traphill, Joanna Bartley and husband Richard of State Road;  brother, Butch Harrison of Belhaven NC;  grandchildren, Charles Ferguson and wife, Aly, Mark Ferguson and wife Andrea, Kayla Paugh and husband Zach, Brooke Bartley, Lindsay Twilley and husband Shawn, Sarah Craddock and husband Justin, Howie Wood and wife Holly, Matthew Kennedy and wife Michelle.   Great grandchildren, Christopher, Gunner, Rachel, Caroline, Rebekah, Walter, Cohen, Lucy, Aeralyn, Carter, Harper, Willow and Eden

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
