Amanda Jane Poplin (English)

Amanda Jane Poplin (English), age 56, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023 at her residence in Winston Salem. Amanda was born June 8, 1966 to Ernest Delano and Mary Combs Poplin.

Amanda attended Pinedale Christian Church and was a member of Pleasant Home Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Delano Poplin and her second Dad, Rev. Robert Brown.

Survivors include; mother, Mary Brown of Lenoir; daughter, Sophia Patton and husband Mark of Kernersville; sister, Tina Jennings and husband Ron of Elkin; special cousins, Sharon and Michelle Gragg; special friend, Terri Absher; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted Sunday, February 19, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Gary Lawrence and Pastor Frank Denning officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. The family invites guest to share any happy memories of Amanda during her Celebration of Life.

In lieu of flowers memorials donations may be made to the family care of Mary Brown, 1283 N. Bridge St., Elkin, NC  28621.

Amanda is finally resting safely in the arms of God.
