Anne Pardue Harpe

Mrs. Anne Pardue Harpe, age 74, of Ronda passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. Harpe was born May 13, 1946 in Wilkes County to Major and Pauline Smith Pardue.

Mrs. Harpe was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Ronda and retired legal secretary for attorneys Richard Randleman and Greg Matthews.

Mrs. Harpe was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include: her loving husband of 51 years, Henry Harpe of the home; daughter, Kristen Harpe Macemore and husband Jamye of Ronda; brother, Andy Pardue and wife Brenda of Ronda; sister, Helen Brooks and husband Craig of Jonesville; grandchildren, Luke Macemore, Lauren Macemore; brother-in-law, Roger Harpe and wife Gerlene of Asheville; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Cothren of Traphill; and several special nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, December 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church of Ronda with Dr. Steve Fowler and Rev. Mark Elmore officiating. The family requests that funeral guests, outside of family, please park in the church parking lot, remain inside your car, and tune your radio to station 87.9 FM to listen to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Harpe will lie-in-state Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service. Due to Covid-19 restrictions the family requests masks be worn at all services.
