Annette Sidden Macemore

Annette Sidden Macemore, age 80, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Hugh Chatham Nursing and Rehabilitation in Elkin.

Annette was born March 27th, 1944 in Surry County to Tommy and Ertie Hanks Sidden.  Annette was of the Baptist Faith and attended Peace Haven Baptist Church for several years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garlen Max "Bud" Macemore and a half-brother, Jerry Sidden.

Survivors include; son, Jeffrey Macemore and Tammi; brother Tommy "Junior" Sidden and wife Linda; sister, Judy Yarboro.  She was affectionately called "Nan"  by her grandchildren  Bradley Macemore and Christina, Jonathan Macemore, Megan Macemore,Tyler Macemore, Brant and Nikeole Macy and several great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 3:00 pm at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. John Hoots officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hugh Chatham Nursing Center-Activity Department, 700 Johnson Ridge Road, Elkin, NC 28621
