Audrey Getz

Mrs. Audrey Ann Smith Getz, age 71, of Jonesville, NC formerly of Penryn, PA passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Getz was born June 22, 1950 in Lancaster County, PA to Paul E. Smith and Patricia A. Bright Smith.

Mrs. Getz was a member of Wilkes Faith Church and the Auxiliary to Captain Mark Garner VFW Post 7794. She was a dog lover who also loved quilting and reading. She loved to go to auctions and antique hunting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald L. Getz.

Survivors include: her son, Shawn Getz and his wife Dolly of Lititz, PA; daughters, Barbara Getz Carbaugh and her husband Jeffrey of Manheim, PA; sister, Shelby Leed and her husband Phil of Englewood, FL; brother, Curtis Smith and wife Kathy of Newmanstown, PA; grandchildren, Cassandra Zook and her husband Stephen, Collin Carbaugh, Miranda Bauman and her husband Caleb; great-grandchildren, Jaidrien Zook and Asher Bauman.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Wilkes Faith Church with Pastor Eric Jones officiating.

A memorial service will also be conducted Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Lebanon Valley Bible Church in Lebanon, PA with Pastor Chandler Cutting officiating.
