Augusta Ann Hill, age 29 of Elkin joined her sister Hunter in Heaven Tuesday, September 26, 2023 due to an automobile accident.
Augusta enjoyed working at Southern on Main but mostly she loved her children and loved watching them play ball. She was all about her dog, Astro.
Ms. Hill was born April 19, 1994 in Surry County to Chris Wayne Hill and Mary Ann Crouse Casstevens.
Augusta was preceded in death by her sister, Hunter Casstevens; grandparents, Pat Miracle, Jack Crouse, Connie Casstevens; and great-grandmother, Mary Carter.
Survivors include: mother and step-father, Mary Ann Crouse Casstevens and Dean; father, Chris Hill; the love of her life, Donovan Smith; son, Jett Smith; daughter, Jacee Smith; brother, Caden Hill; grandparents, Tommy and Shirley Hill; grandfather, Aubrey Casstevens; nieces and nephews, Xavier Largen, Liam Smith, Ale Gonzales Smith; extended family, Amanda, and Rodney Wagoner, Julie and Eric Marshall, Mariah Smith, Meghan and Justin Snow, Dianna and Dave Tullock, Damon Smith, Amy Soots, Ceth and Cooper Crouse, Monty and Nancy Crouse, Anita Martin, Helen Martin, Karsyn and Regan Tullock, John Smith, Tyler Wagoner, Lindsey Hayes and Aaliyah Ganzzermiller, Patricia Woodruff, Devin Martin"Uncle Dump."
A funeral service will be conducted at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Brett Graham officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Beulahland Non-Denominational Church Cemetery.
