Barbara Butcher

Barbara Ann Butcher, age 59, of Elkin passed away Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center. Barbara was born January 21, 1960 in Surry County to James T. and Mattie Brown Cranford.

Barbara attended Central Full Gospel Church.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death her son, James Brandon Hamby; grandparents, Arnold and Pearlie Cranford, Burton and Minnie Brown; aunt, Cora Lee Dodson; and uncle, Clinton Cranford.

Survivors include, daughter, Melissa Craig and husband Michael of State Road, mother, Mattie Cranford of State Road; sisters, Mary Hinson of Thurmond, Nancy Billings of Elkin; grandchildren, Kynli Brown, Easton Craig, Aamori Craig, Bryson Craig; nephews Daniel Billings and wife Christy of State Road, Cole Hinson and wife Nancy of Rural Hall; and niece, Christy Cole of Thurmond.

A graveside service will be conducted Friday, January 24, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Central Full Gospel Church Cemetery with Rev. Ken Tilley officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Elkin Funeral Service, PO Box 192, Elkin, NC 28621 to help with final expenses.
