Barbara Jean Prevette

Barbara Jean Prevette, age 79, of Jonesville, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was born in Surry County on January 1, 1945, to Grable and Martha Ledbetter Prevette.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Joe Prevette and Warren Prevette, and sisters Peggy Prevette and Fay Prevette Kimmer.
She is survived by her brother Gerald Prevette of Jonesville and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, 2:00 p.m., March 20, 2024, at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel, with Rev. Bobby Prevette officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Cemetery in Jonesville.
