Barbara Lee Stackhouse

Barbara Lee Stackhouse, age 72, passed away Monday, January 1, 2024 at her home in King.

Barbara was born Tuesday, January 23rd, 1951 in Harford County, MD, to Bane Rufus Roberts and Susie Belle Roberts.  Barbara was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed watching QVC, crocheting and spending time with her animals.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck Stackhouse and great-great nephew, Korey Barber.

Survivors include; a brother, Freddie and wife Lou Ann Roberts, of State Road; nieces, Stacy Mauldin and husband Frank, of State Road, Crystal Church and husband, Marty of Elkin; great-nieces, Madison Mauldin, Amanda Bond and husband Travis, Candace Barber (Mike); great-nephew, Brandon Church; great-great nieces, Zoie Bond, Harpar Bond, Aubrie Simmons; great-great nephews, Gabriel Simmons, Davin Guyer; step granddaughter, Keila Butcher

Memorial services will be conducted, Sunday, January 7, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Arlis Thomas officiating.  Burial will be held at Saddle Mountain Union Baptist, Ennice, NC, at a later date.
