Barbara Myers Wagoner

Mrs. Barbara Myers Wagoner, age 74, of Roaring River passed away Monday, September 20, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Wagoner was born March 24, 1947 in Surry County to M.L. and Mozelle Ledbetter Myers.

Mrs. Wagoner was a member of Billings Hill Baptist Church and retired from Lucia. She was a loving wife, mother, and nanny.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Gary T. Wagoner; grandson, Kevin Ray Caudill and great-granddaughter, Maria Luna Orozco.

Survivors include: her son, Alan Wagoner of Roaring River; daughter, Diane Wagoner Caudill and husband Chris of Roaring River; brothers, John Myers of Elkin, Tommy Myers and wife Linda of Elkin, David Myers of Elkin; sister, Frances Willey of Elkin; grandchildren, Terry Wagoner and wife Samantha, Crystal Roberts and husband Richard, Misty Moore and husband John, Daniel Caudill and wife Sarah, Ashley Caudill Orozco and husband Oscar; great-grandchildren, Alan Wagoner, Austin Wagoner, Hayden Roberts, Jorden Roberts, Khloie Roberts, Gunner Moore, Leo Orozco, Annie Sophia Orozco, Mahayla Rayne Wagoner, and Rosa Lia Orozco.

A graveside service will be conducted Friday, September 24, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Level Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Justin Wells officiating. Mrs. Wagoner will lie-in-state Thursday from 3:00 -6:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
