Becky Reynolds Creed

Mrs. Becky Reynolds Creed, age 79, passed away Monday, January 6, 2025, at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.

Becky, born on August 10, 1945, in Surry County to Howard and Ruby Laster Reynolds, was a woman of deep love and affection. Her heart was filled with love for her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Little Elkin Baptist Church and had a passion for UNC Basketball, the New York Yankees, Richard Petty, and fellowship at John Boys BBQ.

In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by her brother, Larry C. Reynolds.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Creed; sons, Chris Creed and wife Sheila of Ronda and Darren Creed and wife Brandi of Ronda; brother, Leonard Reynolds and wife Liz of Jonesville; sister, Cindy Simmons and husband Phil; sister-in-law, Phyllis Reynolds; grandchildren, Nicole Collins and husband Travis, Ethan Creed and wife Kary, Seth Creed, Lane Creed and wife Kayte, and James Steele; and great-grandchildren, Reece, River, Peyton, Crosby, Brady, Jackson, and Bo.

A funeral service will be held Friday, January 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Little Elkin Baptist, with Rev. Seth Siceloff and Rev. Steve Fowler officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.   A private family burial will follow in the church cemetery.
