Betty Mcgrady Nichols

Mrs. Betty Sue McGrady Nichols, age 76, of Kernersville passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Hospice Home at High Point. She was born February 1, 1943 in Wilkes County to Ed and Grace Brown McGrady.

Mrs. Nichols was a member of Austin Baptist Church and retired from Lucia.

Mrs. Nichols was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include: her husband, Roger Nichols of the home; son, Lee Nichols and wife Jody of Kernersville; daughter, Erica Dutrow of Appleton, WI; brother, Eddie McGrady and wife Rebecca of Traphill; sisters, Delrine Sidden of Traphill, Debbie Kahn and husband David of Brookville, MD, Dorothy Yale and husband Jack of Traphill; grandchildren, Matthew Dutrow, Jonathon Dutrow, Cleve Nichols, and Wren Nichols.

A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at Austin Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Spicer officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at Elkin Funeral Service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262.
