Bill Anderson

Mr. Bill Anderson, age 85, of Jonesville passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Anderson was born June 11, 1934 in Yadkin County to Will and Ruby Whitaker Anderson.

Mr. Anderson was the owner of Bill’s Package Store and Cedarbrook Golf Course in Jonesville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Mae Prevette Anderson; daughter, Becky A. Spicer; and grandson, Ryan Anderson.

Survivors include: sons, Ronnie Anderson and wife Mary Ann of Jonesville, Ricky Anderson and wife Wanda of Jonesville; son-in-law, Leon Spicer of Jonesville; sister, Polly Mildred Anderson of Elkin; grandchildren, Savannah Matthews, Lisa Nichols, Joey Anderson, Graylon Spicer, Krystal Toler; great-grandchildren, Logan Shores Anderson, Dakota Toler, Shella Toler, Ariela Toler, Kameron Toler, Kenzi Spicer, Jack Spicer, Samantha Anderson, Brittany Anderson, Rilyn Jackson, Kairan Jackson; several great-great grandchildren, and canine companion, his Chihuahua, Scooter.

Mr. Anderson will lie-in-state Wednesday, April 1, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service. Due to the limitations of numbers for public gatherings at this time, a private graveside service will be conducted by Mr. Graylon Spicer.
