Bobbie Dean Gregory

Mr. Bobby Dean Gregory, age 83, of State Road passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Gregory was born October 12, 1936 in Iredell County to Odell and Elva Templeton Gregory.

Mr. Gregory was a member of Center Baptist Church and retired from LP. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Mr. Gregory was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: his loving wife of 26 years, Becky R. Gregory of the home; daughters, Misty Speaks and husband Sammy of Winston-Salem, Kim Griffin of Hamptonville, Debbie Gregory of Colorado; stepdaughter, Annette Rhodes and husband Michael of Pleasant Hill; stepsons, Johnny Macemore and wife Becky of Moravian Falls, Jason Brown and wife Amber of Hamptonville; brothers, James Gregory and wife Barbara of Clingman, Gilbert Gregory of Clingman; sisters, Annette Spencer of North Wilkesboro, Robin Lankford and husband Allen of Millers Creek, Faye Keruly of Taylorsville; thirteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted Friday, September 11, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Adam Darnell, Rev. Ronnie Gregory, and Mr. Jason Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Gregory will lie-in-state from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
