Mr. Bobby Jones Hayes, age 89 passed away Monday, February 17, 2020 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin, NC. Mr. Hayes was born October 6, 1930 in Yadkin County to Daniel E. Hayes and Ila Tucker Hayes. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include: cousin, Chief Monroe Wagoner and wife Mary Ann of Elkin. A graveside service with full military honors provided by Shaw Air Force will be conducted Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Danny Dodds officiating.
