Bobby Lee Mastin

Mr. Bobby Lee Mastin, age 81, of Thurmond passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mr. Mastin was born July 6, 1940 in Wilkes County to Robert Lee and Susie Jolly Mastin.

Mr. Mastin was a member of Roaring Gap Baptist Church and owner of Tri County Garbage Service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Libby Katherine Vestal Mastin; two brothers; and four sisters.

Survivors include: sons, Donnie Mastin and wife Lisa of Elkin, Brian Mastin and wife Cindy of Traphill; grandchildren, Jordan Byrd, Amber Martin & husband Wesley, Alison Mathis & husband Chad, Ashley Mastin, Hailey Tharpe & husband Nathan, Joseph Mastin, Kalyca Mastin; great-grandchildren, Riley Mathis, Kinsley Mathis, Emory Martin, Eden Martin, Salem Tharpe, Izabella Byrd, Noah Byrd, and Caleb Byrd.

A graveside service will be held Monday August 2, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Roaring Gap Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Russ Nixon.
