Brad Bryant

Mr. Randolph Bradford “Brad” Bryant, age 82, of Elkin passed away Wednesday, August 07, 2019 at Yadkin Nursing Care Center. Mr. Bryant was born September 18, 1936 in Wilkes County to Olen and Hazel Wood Bryant.

Mr. Bryant was a veteran of the United States Air Force and member of Macedonia Baptist Church. He retired from Chatham Manufacturing and the Moravian Falls Post Office.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Bonnie Bauguess Bryant; brothers, Foyle Bryant and Dwayne Bryant.

Survivors include: his wife of 15 years, Mary N. Jenkins of the home; son, Randy Bryant and wife Linda of King; daughter, Kathy Rhodes and husband Randy of Millers Creek; stepdaughter, Lynne Jenkins of Statesville; sister, Diana McCann and husband Jeff of Winston-Salem; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Smith officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Ronda Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

The family suggests memorials be made to Macedonia Baptist Church, 1120 Austin Little Mountain Rd, Ronda, NC 28670 or Medi Home Hospice, 115 Atwood St. Suite C, Sparta, NC 28675.
