Bridget Delane Hayes

Mrs. Bridget Delane Hayes, age 63, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023 at her residence.

Delane was born April 9, 1960 in Chatham County.  She was an active member of Welcome Home Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include: husband, Randy Craig Hayes of the home; son, Scotty Craig Hayes of Mulberry; daughter, Amanda Hayes Smith and husband David of Traphill; grandchildren, Sarah Smith, Kaitlyn Hayes, Justin Hayes, Caley Smith, Olivia Smith; great granddaughter, Oaklyn Smith; special friend,  Sandra Reynolds.

The family will receive friends Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.

A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, October 1, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Welcome Home Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Howard Luffman and Rev. Jackie Caudill officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
