Camilla Minish Pardue

Mrs. Camilla Minish Pardue, age 99, of Jonesville passed away Monday, January 24, 2022 at RidgeCrest Assisted Living in Mt. Airy. Mrs. Pardue was born September 1, 1922 in Yadkin County to Richard and Rosa Thompson Minish.

Mrs. Pardue was a member of Jonesville United Methodist Church and retired from Spainhour's in Elkin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Pardue; brother, Russell Thompson; sisters, Iris Canipe, Frances Hoffman, and Rosa Lee Katz.

Survivors include: her sons, Kim Bryan Pardue and his wife Karen of Westminster, MD, George Thomas Pardue and his wife Clorie of Pilot Mountain; sister, Elizabeth “Tinky” Fisher of Elkin; grandchildren, Richard Pardue of Dallas, TX, Jason Pardue of Dallas, TX; great-grandson, Justin Pardue; and companion, James Canipe of Rock Hill, SC.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Casstevens officiating. Burial will follow in Sunrise Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 401 Technology Ln, Suite 200, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
