Charles Delaney Nichols, Jr.

Mr. Charles Delaney Nichols, Jr. age 71, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 23, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Nichols was born January 2, 1952 in Caldwell County to Charles D. Nichols and Mildred Beatrice McCowan Nichols. He retired from Merchant Metals and was an avid fisherman and star gazer and loved his family.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Nichols was preceded in death by his great-great grandson Rylan Burch.

Survivors include: wife, Debbie Nichols of the home; sons, Jason Nichols and wife Rhonda of Traphill and Charles Osborne and wife Christy of Hays; daughter, Amanda Holder and significant other Nickie of Traphill; brother, Larry Dennis Nichols and wife Wanda of Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee; sister, Diane Griffin of Wilkesboro; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
