Curtis Levi Burcham

Mr. Curtis Levi Burcham, age 72, of Jonesville passed away Monday, August 17, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Burcham was born March 18, 1948 in Forsyth County to Lance and Martha Wagoner Burcham.

Mr. Burcham was a member of Island Ford Baptist Church. He moved to St. Charles, IL in 1990 and retired from P & M Mercury Mechanical in Geneva, IL. He moved to St. Charles, IL in 1990. Mr. Burcham was an avid woodworker and former mechanic in West End, Elkin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Sharon Stonestreet; sisters, Mattie Geneva Burcham Osborne, Hazel Marie Burcham Osborne (Arlie Jerome), Fonda Mae Porter (Fred Lee), and Bessie Lee Crouse (Donald).

Survivors include: daughter, Vickie Lynn Burcham Ross of Jonesville; step-son, James Hardin Burke and wife Theresa of Mt. Airy; brother-in-law, John Thomas Osborne of Wilkesboro; grandchildren, Patrick Wagner and wife Kate, Mercedes Smith, Ashhur Gibbs, Niehaimah Gibbs, Andrew Burke and wife Ashley, Matthew Burke, Clara Burke, great-grandchildren, Ashton, Luke, Addison, Lily, Kenley, Everlee, Christopher, Aiden, Koben, Kashton, Lylli, Laykin; special friend, Michael Ransdell of Jonesville; and a host of nieces and nephews

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 2:00 pm. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Dr. Charlie Kennedy officiating.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
