David Holbrook

Mr. David Odell Holbrook, age 81, of Ronda passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019 at his home. David was born August 2, 1938 in Wilkes County to Ebb and Mary Howell Holbrook.

Mr. Holbrook was a member of Maple Springs United Methodist Church and retired from Roadway.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Homer Holbrook and sister, Lois Winebarger.

Survivors include: his wife, Marie Holbrook of the home; sons, Mark Holbrook of High Point, Brian Holbrook of Greensboro, Marty Mitchell of Lewisville, Jerry Mitchell of Ronda; daughter, Robin Miller and husband Richard of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Maple Springs United Methodist Church with Dr. Jeremy Simpson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00–2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
