David Franklin Manning

Mr. David Franklin Manning, age 69, of Elkin passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019 at his home. Mr. Manning was born September 15, 1949 in Fayette County, WV to Andrew and Sophia Bennett Manning.

Mr. Manning attended Community Fellowship Church and retired from Elkin Furniture.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, David Emory Manning.

Survivors include: his wife, Wilma Manning of the home; daughter, Sherry Goad and husband David of Mount Airy; brothers, Jimmy Manning and wife Parla of Arizona, Richard Manning of WV, Milton Manning and wife Nikki of Traphill; sisters, Elizabeth Manning of Elkin, Arnella Johnson of Elkin, Patricia Jeffress of Texas; grandchild, Blaine Goad.

A memorial service will be conducted Monday, May 20, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Community Fellowship Church with Rev. Michael Osborne officiating.
